By far the bulk of the Library’s journal articles holdings are held by electronic subscription. The Library offers a number of tools by which to access these electronic journals. Journal articles can be reached via our federated search engine, inKUire or via subject-specific journal databases. If you know the title of the journal from which you need an article, the e-journals tab on the Library homepage will be of use to you.

The library does hold a number of print subscriptions. Current issues of these journals are held in the Atrium on the Ground Floor. Once they are no longer current, journal issues are bound, assigned a Library of Congress call number, and arranged on the shelf like any other book. Once bound, journals can be checked out like any other book.
