The place to start is with our federated search engine, InKUire, which you can find on the library homepage. InKUire searches all of the Library’s databases and collections, and has options to search beyond KU’s own collection as well. Use keywords that best describe your topic. For example, if you are conducting research on the topic of freedom of speech in Turkey during the election of 1999, type in Freedom and Speech and Turkey and Election 1999. InKUire will bring up articles related to these keywords.

If you are having trouble getting good results in InKUire, you might want to move on to one of our more subject-specific databases.
