By far the bulk of the Library’s journal articles holdings are held by electronic subscription. The Library offers a number of tools by which to access these electronic journals. Journal articles can be reached via our federated search engine, inKUire or via subject-specific journal databases. If you know the title of the journal from which you need an article, the e-journals tab on the Library homepage will be of use to you.

The library does hold a number of print subscriptions. Current issues of these journals are held in the Atrium on the Ground Floor. Once they are no longer current, journal issues are bound, assigned a Library of Congress call number, and arranged on the shelf like any other book. Articles from current issues of journals can be photocopied in the library. Once bound, journals can be checked out like any other book.
